As one of the busiest Indoor Karting Circuits in the world The Raceway has used many brands of karts over the last 15+ years. Most of these have fallen short of our expectations in at least one area of operation and so, at considerable expense, The Raceway has, over an 18 month period, designed, tested and constructed our own range of “Cobra” karts which we believe are the finest now available on the market.
Our Karts are all fitted with Honda engine, modified to our own specification to produce 10hp (whilst most circuits still offer just 5 or 6 hp engines) which is fuelled with LPG. This type of fuel is significantly cleaner burning than petrol, and when combined with the catalytic converter fitted to all of our karts ensures that the air quality within The Raceway never suffers.
Moveable padded seats ensure that we can accommodate the largest range of driver heights and a running time of over 4.5 hours means that potentially hazardous fuel-stops during endurance races are a thing of the past.
