Track

You wouldn’t find Formula-1 cars racing on concrete or a painted workshop floor, so at The Raceway you won’t do that either. Each of our tracks is surfaced with Asphalt to ensure a generous amount of consistent grip is available. Of course it also looks better and contributes to a significantly cleaner environment.

Having tried and tested several types of circuit protection Barrier available on the market, we are now manufacturing our own to guarantee the safest environment possible for all participants at The Raceway. Although there are cheaper alternatives available to us, the safety of our drivers will always be the number 1 priority.

Timing System

All events at The Raceway are timed and scored using the SuperSport WinTime system. We have worked together with SuperSport developing what we consider to be the finest visual and kart management and control system available. We liked the company so much we bought into it. The system offers an unrivalled amount of information to all drivers and participants alike.

Every lap is timed to an accuracy of 1/1000th of a second and this information is presented to participants not on one computer-screen but over 4 huge display monitors. The information is colourful and animated and although providing significantly more information than other systems is also particularly easy to understand.
